Questions About Insurance Coverage for Employees

When considering purchasing Washington small business health insurance, what do I need to know about the differences between employer health plans and the commercial health plans I may be able to offer? Is there that much difference in coverage per individual? Is one better than the other? What types of costs are handed down in each and which is generally more expensive to the business owner? And what about carrying COBRA? I think it is mandated that it must be offered, but there is no cost to me or my business, is that correct? What other questions do I need answers to that I am not asking?
