If you are reading this, you have likely been asked to shoot photos at someone’s wedding. Perhaps you are an amateur photographer doing it as a favor for a friend or family member, or perhaps you are a professional moving into weddings for the first time. Either way, it is absolutely vital that your clients understand exactly what your experience is and don’t have too high of expectations. This is one of the first wedding photography tips I received, and it saved me from a lot of trouble after my first wedding. The pictures I shot were definitely not album quality. My friend was upset, but because I had been completely upfront with her she knew there was nothing she could do about it.
